Track loyalty rewards with ANY reusable cup
CUPforLIFE is a quick and easy way to maintain your loyalty rewards, to reduce waste from single use cups and help protect koalas and other animals and plants around Australia in their natural ecosystems. With your help, CUPforLIFE is so much more than a digital loyalty rewards card. It is a new way we can all connect and protect our precious wildlife.
1.Download the app
Download & install the CUPforLIFE app from Android or Apple store. You will be able to create your own account and start earning loyalty rewards.
2. Get your QR code
Visit a participating café and get a CUPforLIFE QR code sticker. Apply the sticker to your own reusable cup, scan the QR code with any QR code reader and following the instructions to connect your code to your account.
3. Scan your cup!
You can now scan your cup at participating cafés when you purchase a coffee and see the difference that you’re making to the planet by helping to reduce waste. Not to mention being able to keep track of your rewards!
Our mission
CUPforLIFE was created to address the increasing waste from throwing away non-recyclable, single use coffee cups. The equivalent of the entire Sydney basin area under pine plantation is required to make disposable cups each year! That’s around 1 BILLION (1,000,000,000) cups wasted each year in Australia!
CUPforLIFE is the simple alternative to facilitate & encourage the use of reusable cups that will reduce waste and benefit the environment.
Reusable cups have so many benefits, we just need your participation and action to make it happen!
Our vision is to connect everyone using a reusable cup and have them invested in the protection of native land and all its plants and animals, so that even our grandchildren in decades to come will still be able to immerse themselves in nature. Why continue to wait for someone else to fix the environmental problems we face, when we can make a small change to the cup we use and as a community, feel good as we protect our precious ecosystems at the same time!
The picture above shows that we destroy all native plants and animals on a huge scale to plant pine trees, just for the paper in the single use cups we throw away. Koalas and other wildlife can’t eat pine trees, and research indicates that koalas will be extinct in NSW within 30 years, along with many other plants and animals. We have a plan to change that if you are prepared to scan your cup to get a coffee!
An important part of CUPforLIFE is the ability for you, the customer, to have a say about the service through the feedback button, the web site or through participating cafés. We can then help you, and with other likeminded people we can all focus on making a difference to the planet. Reuse is the way forward and these are necessary small steps!
